PRODUCT REVIEW | Concept II Cosmetics Perfume and Body Lotion

Hello all, to get into the swing of things for my blog a have a little product review for you guys. I got these two Concept II products back in December as a little early Christmas present. I have to admit, before I got these I didn't even know that Concept II Cosmetics existed, but it's always nice to find new things right? I can definitely say that it's been nice finding it.

Perfume

The perfume is in the scent Peach Velvet which is like a citrus-y, lightly floral scent. When I first smelt it, it was more like a body mist to me because of the lightness of it. When I was doing a bit of product research on their website,, they didn't have perfume listed as one of the products that they sold, but they do offer body mists in a variety of scents including Peach Velvet. So I'm thinking that it's either a mistake on the box that this product is categorised as a perfume or something. But regardless of that, I really like the smell of this. The colour of the perfume isn't in truth that dark, it's a light peach colour, the camera angle threw it off.

Body Lotion
The body lotion smells like floral toned baby powder. I really like the packaging for the body lotion and the perfume with the bits of gold - I'm a sucker for packaging. To be honest though, I've been using this lotion for a while now and it has done anything extra special for my skin, I would just classify this as just another body lotion and also I could not find this particular lotion anywhere on the Concept II Cosmetics site.

All in all, would I repurchase any of these? The body mist, sure, but as for the lotion, I'd give something else a try.

2. What's your favourite subject in school?

My favourite subject in school would definitely be Clothing and Textiles and that's 100% because of the fact that I want to be a fashion designer.

3. What's your favourite drink?

I don't know . . . there's so much to drink in the world. Tea?

4. What's your favourite song at the moment?

Whoa this is an easy one, for the past couple of day I've had Cedric Gervais' remix of Lana Del Ray's Young & Beautiful on repeat here.

5. What would you name your child?

That depends, girl or boy? If it were a boy, right now I'm thinking Declan and if it were a girl - this ones tough - on the spot I'd have to say, oh wow I can't choose, Mikaela or McKenzie. If I have twin girls then I wont have to choose.

6. Do you participate in sports?

Oh I wish. Nope I do not, I'm not very good at sports.

7. What is your favourite book?

Um, I guess it would be 'The Black Book of Secrets' by F.E. Higgins.

8. What is your favourite colour?

I don't have one.

9. What's your favourite animal?

My favourite animal would have to be a horse.

10. What's your favourite perfume?

Peach Velvet by Concept II, it's has a light, citrus-y scent that I really like.

11. What's your favourite holiday season?

Christmas of course!

12. Have you graduated from high school?

Not yet, almost there.

13. Have you been out of the country?

Yep, just a couple of times.

14. Do you speak any other language?

I do Spanish in school, but it could use some work.

15. Do you have any siblings?

Yep, I have a brother and a sister.

16. What's your favourite store?

Sephora all the way!!

17. What's your favourite restaurant?

My favourite restaurant is Ole House Café. 

18. Do you like school?

Yes, I really do and I think I'll miss it when it's all over.

This has to be the best question, my favourites are I Covet Thee, Tanya Burr, Zoella, Pointless Blog, Jarmaine (JLovesMac), Bethany Mota, Meredith Foster, Makeup by Mandy, Shaaanxo, Karissa Pukas (Saturday Nights Alrite), Lauren Curtis, Dulce Candy, Sprinkle of Glitter, Miss Glamorazzi, Bubz Beauty, April Athena 7, Michelle Phan and I think that's it!

20. What's your favourite movie?

Nope, I'm not going to answer that. I refuse to - it's too hard.

21. What are some of your favourite TV shows?

My favourite TV shows are Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolfe, 90210, Pretty Little Liars, The Fosters and The Originals.

22. PC or Mac?

Since I've never used a Mac I'd have to go with PC, but I've heard some really great things about Mac and would definitely like to try one out, so my answer to this question could change in the future.

23. What phone do you have?

I have an Alcatel.

24. How tall are you?

I'm 5 ft 6 or 7 inches.

25. Any pets?

Yep, I have to pups - both boys - ones brown and the others black. The brown one's name is Marley and the black one's name is Lyric.
